       “Live Activities” in #iOS would be much useful if you didn’t have to open the app to start them.It struck me again as #Fantastical just added them.I understand #Apple is trying to limit “abuse” of the feature, but simply falling back on the use to manually invoke it is really a cop out.It’s one more in a long list (e.g. automatic background downloads) that makes these amazing computers we have in our pockets less useful. #Technology #RantComputer should be able to be proactive.

       @arstechnica I pay for YouTube Premium and occasionally I will pull something up and not be logged in and I truly cannot believe that people are forced to suffer through so many ads.

       For the people saying that Twitter was running fine even after the massive layoffs, this is what the impact to complex software systems looks like. It’ll work fine at first, then begin degrading worse and worse as new variables are introduced and those with the knowledge are no longer there to provide insight or proactively handle issues.        @ike I guess. I want to spend less time on calls, not more. This does nothing to help meetings more productive. Just means we will have to waste the first 5 minutes as people play with it.There are so many features I’d rather them work on in Teams than this.
