#mastodonart Mastodon.art is about be the next #fediblock #instanceblock on our instance. They continue to promote a widespread attack of #transgender individuals labeling them antisemitic in an effort to justify their #transphobia. Many people have contacted me about this situation and to date none of the Admins from mastodon.art have done anything to stop it. This is sad as it is one of my daughter’s favorite instances as a graphic designer. 1/2

But as a #transgender #woman, she is more concerned with the abuse toward her community at this time. The admins need to take a very strong stance against this abuse or risk being closed off from the rest of the #fediverse.

@BeAware I agree completely. I review all reports made on our platform. We don't have the number of users mastodon.social has, but they also have more moderators and admins than we do. So they could do a better job, they just choose not to. The number of instances dropping them should be an indication that changes need to be made, but sadly, they will not realize until the whole ship is submerged.

Haven’t been able to get to the internet the last few days. We are in Augusta Georgia and the heart of the #hurricane destruction. We have been without power since Friday at 5am. We may not get it restored until Wednesday or Thursday. Food is scarce, gas is even worse. And people are starting to turn on each other. We are desperate for any help. Generators are gone. Batteries on everything running low. Keep us in your prayers! Will post when I can.

My daughter works at the front office of a gay resort. As a trans woman, she loves working there and most of the time people are nice. The owner said something on Facebook that was racist. Now people are calling her a racist for working there. She went nearly 4 years looking for a job after college and this was the only one she could get. Guess the community would rather her be unemployed than to work there. In the queer community, we shoot each other for things others do!
