       I had resisted the idea of getting cartridge #FountainPens because I didn’t want to deal with the cartridges and I liked the idea of picking my own inks. I had “accidentally” gotten a neat LAMY ideos a while ago that at the time I didn’t realize was a cartridge pen. I liked the teardrop design, but I didn’t end up using it (blue ink isn’t my fave, and the ink dried out in the cartridge when I wasn’t feeling it).Fast-forward to now, I got myself a cartridge converter and loaded it up with one of my recent favorite inks—Diamine’s Writer’s Blood—and I’ve really been enjoying how this pen writes. Might even be a new daily driver for a while.

       Not loving MS forcing features on me that I don't want, but loving the ability to turn them off or hack them out with Powershell. JFC, I don't want the dystopia they're pushing.

       Supposedly we’re going to get a small dusting of snow. My wife spent much of her formative years in the south, so she’s waiting excitedly for it. On the other hand, I know what “lake effect snow” means, and I hate cold weather so I can’t be bothered. Warm blanket and toasty slippers, I ain’t going out there.
