       @splitshockvirus @rootbsd No one should change their entire workflow if they want to try out an operating system. As a past windows 10 user, I myself wanted to shift to linux because I was trying out neovim, which had better support in linux. You should change your tools if YOU WANT too, not because you feel like it. If someone really wants openbsd, they probably would change text editors, heck I changed my os for a terminal editor.

       #introduction I am a 17 year old kid in high school, who programms as a hobbyist, but will soon make it into a profession.Have been using #emacs for over a year now. Initially came from vim because of org mode, but stayed cause of doom emacs (and lisp, who doesn't like lisp?).Also use #linux, nixos is my distro of choice cause who doesn't like to manage their system with dotfiles?!        @galdor Atleast on nixos, there is relatively simple 3 line code you can insert into your config for emacs to have all tree sitter libraries but on other distributions, it will be a pain unless the binary provided would be compiled with tree sitter support.
