       @gnulinux ich hatte bisher noch nie probs mit der latenz von ssh, kann mir aber vorstellen dass das mal sein kann... ggf. hilft aber bereits ssh komprimierung, einfach mal in man von ssh nachschaun... der daemon ist recht versatil...

       @aral luckily one has a choice... to switch what theyre using.one choice might be the tor browser. which is based on ff, lets you import your bookmarks (password import is a bit problematic...) and supports the extensions without that the web would be unbareable.

       @johnmacintosh i remember using it for the first time back then... and quickly quitting it again on windows, as bonjour ate up about 80 percent of system resources.has it gotten any better over the years it existed?

       @BrodieOnLinux well, yah, of course theres a tool for that... personally im really more a fan of a straight forward commandline tool like dd, you got your ins, you got your outs, and maybe two flags if youre fancy...i just remembered from a script of mine.. can be done even easier... plain ol' cat with the < > syntax...
