@sean i'm ok with this as a temporary solution.ultimately, every corporation who wants space in the fediverse should be hosting their own server. i understand for smaller companies this service might have a long-term use.and its so easy to block a domain. if you don't want to see any business communiques, use the block button.

@SP it's bullshit that it's straight up proprietary garbage that makes its users dumber by calling their subdomains or whatever "servers". the amount of confusion discord caused for people trying to migrate to mastodon was unforgivable. and i'm pretty sure it's straight-up spyware. and it's a closed ecosystem so if tehy ever pull the plug, whole communities will be gone along with hours of scripting/coding people did specifically for their discord bots.sorry. did not want to rant. but here we are.
