@matthew I don't have any of my own podcasts, but I have three recommendations I've been enjoying recently. No Agenda (News/politics and media deconstruction): http://noagendashow.net/DHUnplugged (Financial market news): https://www.dhunplugged.com/The Lunduke Journal of Technology (Tech journalism): https://lunduke.substack.com/podcast

@eriner Antiwar.com is the only "news" site I check, albeit very rarely. I've always thought Fuentes was a fed, but I don't have much evidence to prove it. Just a hunch.

@gabriel I've noticed the rhetoric ramp up from the left and right. I don't keep up with it as much as I used to due to this radicalization across the board. I guess since I try to stay away from algorithms it has less of an effect on me?

My biggest criticism of X (formerly Twitter) now is that you have to pay for engagement via their subscription service. However, I do think X has vastly improved now that they allow everyone to have an opinion. I still think the Fediverse in theory is technologically superior, but the "Fedi block list" really puts a damper on it in my opinion. The Fediverse *should* be a free speech haven without the BS paywalls and censorship. (According to US law, no illegal stuff obviously).
