Hot Take des Tages: Komplett entpersonalisierte Kapitalismuskritik ist genauso schädlich wie personalisierte.Ja das System ist ein unpersönliches, dem es egal ist wer herrscht, so lange seine Gesetze exekutiert werden. Aber dieses System existiert ja _weil_ es bestimmte Privilegien schützt. Und das sind schon konkrete Personen. Und wenn deren Privilegien in Gefahr geraten finden sie auch immer Wege, wieso die unsichtbare Hand des Marktes auf einmal doch nicht heilig ist.

Apple verlangt ab November 30% von allen Patreon-Mitgliedschaften, wenn mans über nen IPhone bucht. Selten einen Move gesehen, der so sehr nach Neofeudalismus riecht wie dieser. Die Kirche wollte immerhin nur ein Zehntel.

@futurebird I think he liked the early culture novels, because you can focus on the "we can be like gods, if only our tech is advanced enough" thing. In later novels (maybe starting with "excession") banks addresses this in a very interesting manner, i think. i bet he disliked this one.
