       @garymarcus that’s jolly interesting. Alpha Go was trained entirely with (initially random) self play, i understand. so this suggests there are large holes in the random strategies it tried against itself, which to me is very unexpected.

       @tiago I had no idea how messed up this system was. I thought the badness was just the fairly surface level badness of profiting from doing very little, pay walled information and some bias to publishing. But wow.

       @tante I think I get that - can I ask, what field? It’s great, to find communities of common interest to collaborate, share with, and develop from. I think it happen too little.
