Maybe I move instances too often...Anyways, hey y'all. Just set up a new #snac instance myself and am moving away from Mastodon for the time being. I like that it's extremely simple with no JavaScript but still Mastodon API-compatible.Some things I enjoy are the #DallasStars, the #WRC, and #Formula1.

Honestly, snac was pretty easy to set up and it just immediately worked with Mona on iOS. It seems like a great option for self-hosting (setting up Mastodon, when I had my own instance, was a lot harder).

@samuel@social.nihil.ws @grunfink@comam.es @blakeana@tech.lgbt @phanpy@hachyderm.io It’s also compatible with the Mastodon API so apps intended for Mastodon (mostly) work

Is there a way to see the currently-installed version on the web interface anywhere? I just updated, and it's definitely not a huge deal, I just realized I've wondered this after previous updates, too.

Anyone happen to have experience with self hosted password managers other than Vaultwarden? Mostly care about it for myself. The only “collaborative”-type feature I kind of care about is the fact that it’d be nice to share certain passwords with my girlfriend.#selfhosted

@matthew@social.retroedge.tech @SamuraiSakura@bsd.cafe I used a PS/2 connector for my keyboard through like 2018 because, when I built that computer ca. 2013, N-key rollover over USB wasn’t really a thing yet, so my Das Keyboard came with an adapter and my motherboard still had a port for it.
