It's just a reminder that anything you post on any of these platforms can and will be used for profit. It's just a matter of time until all your messages on Discord, Twitter etc. are scraped, fed into a model and sold back to you.

Thank you for the replies. As someone pointed out, anything posted on Stack Overflow is covered by CC BY-SA 4.0.Under this license all usage must attribute the author and must have a similar license. Neither of which OpenAI fulfills.

one thing i'd love to know from any devs that use rnghow much do you just use "vanilla" rng vs anything that puts a finger on the scalefor example i heard diablo uses rng but it makes it _more_ likely for the player to get a rare item the longer they go without receiving one

i genuinely don't understand how people build anything larger than a couple of hundred lines in scripting languages like ruby and pythonwhere is the ide support?
