Does anyone know why some #relays that are listed as ‘open registration’ seem to just hang and never let your #instance join? I have tried adding a few open ones from relaylist.com that are ‘open’ and most work, but some like relay.fedi.agency (the largest one) simply do not let me join. So today’s a great day to introduce our #cat Marshall on #Mastodon because this morning he saved our lives! @nowafflecone and I were playing video games this evening and we noticed Marshall was clawing at the door to our utility closet. I was like man… that’s weird… so we opened the door and took a whiff, and it smelt like natural gas.
