@wyatwerp @itsbhavikjoshi @Bhavika @praveen Not just whitewashing (attributing casteism to the West), glorification of own country's ancient civilization along with reluctance to reject unsavory parts of it (untouchability and other forms of discrimination), spreading misinformation or information without proper reference (lokayurveda, plastic surgery) and attempts to demean the West in general by simply labelling them as elitists.

Spreading #HateSpeech in the name of #FreeSpeech is like arguing that a free country is a country where you've freedom to kill any one. On the other hand, in #India, we've people who spread hate speech and promote violence walking free while people who use their freedom of expression responsibly get jailed for criticizing government or courts/judges.

@amolith Currently using mediawiki service provided by https://miraheze.org for free. Haven't started using it properly for note taking yet. I'm also using it for blogging (https://bady.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:ArticlesHome) with the help of a mediawiki extension called BlogPage. My plan is to learn emacs org mode so that I can convert org files to mediawiki markup and post them directly from emacs.
