Nikki went to the shops to get themself some 500mL Monsters for her work day and I was in the study working when she unpacked and I called out "thank you" because I could hear from the sound of bag unpacking that she'd also bought a 500mL can of Mother for me.

Out of curiousity I looked up TSMC's Fab 18 complex in Taiwan. Each of those square buildings is 2.5 times the length of a footy field and represents a full fabrication facility.

@geordie it's also a good metaphor for how US society (and AU to a strong extent) solve problems with policing. Why give money to psych resources so trained professionals can attend mental health crises when you can just send cops? Why provide injecting rooms when we can just arrest addicts?

@geordie having coloured hair and a mohawk makes this a nightmare, even for shit like doxylamine, let alone lidocaine, pseudoephedrine, or dextromethorphan. i've been point blank refused when asking for those and describing symptoms.

Excel developers 40 years ago: we've built a world-first recalc system, delivering performant but accurate dynamic cell updating on any architecture or system.Excel developers now: we added a function that can sometimes give a correct answer. We can't tell if the answer is correct or not. Also it shouldn't be used for numbers in a spreadsheet.
