@flameeyes I have no idea behind the story, but I discussed this matter many many times on Twitter. There are several Bug reports to Google about that issue. @flameeyes Don't get me wrong I am all for #IPv6 adoption. But it has soo many issues, right now. Let alone the stability for networks like Vodafone, Tata and the like. @flameeyes Yep, that's what fanboys often forget. Sure I can add a AAAA record to stuff and don't care. But if I want to retain quality of my network ... there is much more work to do beyond putting on a AAAA.

@flameeyes Yep, when we turned on IPv6 at my last job. It ended in a pretty big disaster, because of Linux Kernel bugs, Android bugs which lead to happy eyeballs not working correctly and providers which just dropped odd IPv6 addresses.Debugging this was a hell lot of fun.

@russss In comparison that's what @freifunkMUC looks like.Traffic volume is even higher for #IPv6 than #IPv4 but flows are less.
