Okay. I'll say this since I've only being following this situation from a side glance. Alex you have a lot of accounts on various social media that I don't follow, so I have no idea what's you've been working on other than Ditto. I have no interest in Nostr, since the Fediverse is fine for me and I have no idea if I can even transfer my Rebase instance to Ditto since I can't find any documentation on it. I've noticed that Rebased has not been updated for months and still uses Pleroma 2.3.0 backend. I also have trouble transferring my database to a fresh install of Rebase since the database tables don't match up for some reason. I can't transfer to Pleroma for the same reason. I haven't exhausted all my options since I'm hoping that I can transfer my database to an older version of Pleroma, but I wouldn't be surprised if I couldn't. As a longtime supporter of your software and you're vision of FOSS, I am a bit disappointed to see Rebase in it's current state. Isn't the point of FOSS is that you can work on software openly with various developers? If you, as an individual, can't maintain the software, the community can instead? Elixir is a rare programming language, so there's nothing from a programming standpoint I can contribute. That's why I hoped that my contributions would motivate you and your team to continue development. Also, I noticed that federation on my instance hasn't been the same. I can't communicate with other Fediverse software like Mastodon anymore. Not sure if this is due to the outdated software or the massive blocklist Mastodon started forming. Nonetheless, I know nothing about Revolver and what impact it will have on my instance or the Fediverse as a whole. I wish you the best of luck in your programming ventures and I hope either you or a programming of the community can keep maintaining this software. So far from what I've seen, I'm going to have to side with @graf on this one.

Spent several days and countless hours tinkering with Pleroma migrations. It was a lot of trail and error, but I finally moved the server away from Rebased (Soapbox BE) (Pleroma 2.3.0) to the latest Pleroma version (2.8.0). Regrettably, there are currently no good alternatives to Soapbox FE, so I cannot fully cleanse the instance of "Gleasonware". @alex had months to respond to my concerns around Rebased and potentially offer solutions. Unfortunately, Alex remained silent, while @graf offered to help. Due to my hectic schedule, I wasn't able to accept that offer, but I appreciate it nonetheless. Regardless, I am incredibly disappointed by Alex's actions, or lack thereof. If you don't have the time to maintain the software people use, then be transparent about it and allow someone else to lead development. On a final note, I do not follow all of Alex's numerous obscure social media accounts, so maybe he has discussed these concerns with others already. All I know is that the development of Rebased has been stagnant for months.

It's scary how good these look. The AI mimics Namlei's art style very well.

Not sure if this is a serious question, but, unless they're gay, typically no. Girls are more inclined to read Yoai.

It's quite the conundrum. It's not popular because no one uses it, versus, no one uses it because it's not popular. Ultimately, it depends on the individual's preferences for social media. Do you want more freedom and control of your social media or have some entity manage it for you? Do you want to reach a general audience or do you have a specific niche audience in mind? Are you trying to profit off your social media presence or are you just posting for some sort of social interaction? These are all important factors when it comes to what social media people use and why. Think about it this way. Why have a website that would cost resources to create and manage, when you can make an account on a website for free and achieve the same goal. Some might make thier own website out of tradition, but it's easier, and probably more efficient, to use a pre-existing one instead.
