@matrixsasuke@fedi.absturztau.be I learned it the hard way, basically the majority of humanity is people who are not good enough trying to appear as if they are good enough, a certification is basically a step by step guide on how to pretend to be competent even though you are not, any place that allows you to enter by just having a certification is destined to be filled by people who are not good enough.I've had many jobs and only my current job is a good place where unintelligent people are kept out, and the way they manage to do this is by being intelligent themselves in the first place and being able to tell by themselves who is good and who isnt, in the interview process, which is very long.Think about it, would you want to interact with anybody who needs to trust a third party to be able to tell if you are competent or not?

@matrixsasuke@fedi.absturztau.be I work in IT and when people ask me if they need a degree I always tell them, would you rather spend 4 years doing a degree and 4 minutes applying to jobs to get one, or 4 months studying at home and 40 minutes applying to jobs to get one?
