       Also, I'm really questioning if I want to keep working in FinTech. I've been gradually moving towards companies that are more and more about the "Fin" aspect. Do I really want to work at a company that makes rich people richer? Do I really want to work in an ecosystem where it's literally all about the money? I really don't know 🤔

       Welp, just had my diagnosis confirmed: apparently I have “holes” in the bones that separate my brain from my inner ears.Now to decide if I can live with the symptoms or get surgery through the side of my skull 🙃

       @kai In some parts of Mexico, particularly more rural areas, people go out to the corner store, get what little produce they need for the next couple of days, and walk back home. I think some parts of Europe are like that too.Does that happen in rural USA or are supermarkets pretty much ubiquitous? I know rural USA is light years ahead of rural Mexico in terms of civilization, lol.

       Wrote a bunch of code today that’s based on a library that reads a dialect of Prolog of some sort.It takes an expression and then builds a graph of “resolvers” that are in charge of making the output data “happen.”Fucking magic.And it was all in Clojure.Double fucking magic.

       Took me about half an hour to grok it, but once you get going, it’s really nice.Although maybe not a great library to learn for newcomers, either to Clojure or Prolog-like languages.

       @rdaily Although! There is something to be said about the positive psychological qualities of faith in the sick and the dying. People won’t heal out of faith, of course, but it does help the process to have a trusted minister of whatever religion nearby.
