       @fatboy I host my own XMPP server for me and a good friend. It's a heck of a lot better than SMS! I've also heard that many Matrix users are on the few "big" servers, which doesn't sound decentralizedSomewhat off topic, there's exists a social media platform that runs on top of your standard XMPP server. It's called MovimI haven't tried it, but it seems neat that XMPP can do more than just IM
