       Big organizations don't just have a credit card to charge things to.  They need to negotiate a Master Service Agreement, get a Service Order or Purchase Order done, find a SCOA to charge things to, get internal authorization for the ongoing OPEX, etc.Not done in 7 days.

       Some of these organizations may already have commercial arrangements with Twitter (perhaps for ads) which might speed things along.Many will not.  If this goes through we'll quickly find out.

       @grammargirl I also don't have this problem but it's possible a server people are on isn't federated with the server people are replying to you on.If people look at the original post they can press the overflow button and choose to see the original post on the original server, which will have all the replies

       @grammargirl also construction can affect traffic in ways that don't involve slowing down -- it can prohibit turns, for instance, which could speed up traffic in general but inconvenience certain users.A phrase that doesn't imply good or bad can be helpful in these situations.
