This is the slowest peak season at Amazon's I've ever seen!! It *might be because I'm at a same day delivery Amazon 🤔. It's certainly not a big deal here! All stations should be open (we have 8) and working but we only have 3 open, which is a normal day. In other news, we opened the new grocery delivery area...I threw away 300 items of food yesterday that looked good enough to have been donated to make food boxes for people. I was MORTIFIED by that loss!!

@DaddyO Our drivers here are flex so like door dash...they reject shipments when its raining outside ..and the new trend is rejecting grocery deliveries because it's a waste of their time 🙄🙄

Oven update: Got the element needed from Amazon 1 day delivery. The husband, took oven apart to replace the element. New element slipped off the counter AND SHATTERED!!!! 😖Thought all was lost…crockpots beef stew was now on the menu for Christmas Day. Not a horrible thing. Then, as a new part was being ordered…we realized that we could use the element for the broiler for the bottom. It worked!! (And why not)Roast beast is back on the menu!! 😅

@radix023 @Dan_Ramos Hmmm I can see how those colors would invoke a good mood. I LOVE yellow houses! I sometimes question blue being one of the calming colors...only because it's considered a "cold color". Arguably, in design blue means trust, which is why you see it a lot in tech. Now, I DID paint my downstairs a blue/green (a lot like the 1920s color in the chart) and it's absolutely delightful!

@viking @Zonz Sure! I'm from the PNW AND one of my first cooking jobs when I was younger was at a Japanese grill. Funny thing is, I disliked Asian food when I started there...by the time I was done there, I LOVED it 😅

@koropokkur @RichardKuklinskisIcyGlare @EvolLove @Escoffier Do this--> mix together: 1 Tablespoon each: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and (optional) 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Rub it on the pork belly. Let it rest all day/over night -OR- stick it in a food saver bag and freeze it for whenever you want to have it (my favorite) Cut thick 1/4 in., or 1/2 Slices (your preference)Fire up the grill and grill it! It's AMAZING!!

@Escoffier @koropokkur @RichardKuklinskisIcyGlare @EvolLove Heat grill to around 500 degrees. Because of the fat it's gonna LIGHT on fire. When the fat is rendered, it done. You have to babysit this one because of the fat.
