       @Krisss that’s some big truth right there. Took me 40 years to realize that the things I’d been masking, hiding, and struggling to change, I was actually okay with. It was other people (whom I didn’t respect or like anyway) that I was doing it for.

       @Krisss I read your bio, Kris, and I couldn’t be happier for you. It must feel like a warm blast of sunshine after endless rain.I’ve been dealing with severe clinical depression for most of my life, including 25+ years of ineffective treatments and medications. But I still just started working with a new psychiatrist and I’m in the beginning of a 3 month process of getting off old meds and onto new ones. Can’t give up.

       @Krisss Thank you for your kindness, Kris. I’ve been on virtually every medication that’s approved for depression, in myriad combinations. I believe it’s called “treatment-resistant depression” or TRD. I’ve come to view it as a super power of sorts. The mercilessly painful landscapes that make up my existence, it would destroy the average person to live there. But it allows me to become well acquainted with the emotions most people can hide from, and that gives me a singularly unique perspective to write, draw, and sculpt from.
