@freemo They are called Collections in Firefox. You could create a Newspapers collection for example. When you remove Firefox this user data will be lost.

@freemo No, that was not what was meant.More info via this link.It is native to Firefox Android and does not require installing additional add-ons.https://blog.mozilla.org/en/products/firefox/get-organized-with-firefox-collections/The Firefox for Android app lets you collect and organize tabs into any quick grouping you want. You can create and name your own Collections and add pages to them as you browse. To add any tab to a Collection, tap the three dots, then tap Save to collection.

@freemo I advise googling for : Tab collections in Firefox for LinuxOne of the suggestions is an add-on, which might do what you want in Linux.https://www.techrepublic.com/article/firefox-finally-tab-management-add-on-worth-using/Good luck at finding a solution.

@aljazeera Read the article. It strikes me a lot of parties seem to have a tunnel vision focusing on only a single part of a complex problem. This subject needs a vision, which takes many factors into account.Existing eco systems.Bio diversity.Preventing mono cultures.I think, we need a Manhattan project to study this subject with a sufficient scope.Something like the IPCC, but for this subject.

#Covid #Physics Q&A — Fluid dynamicist Lydia Bourouiba MIThttps://knowablemagazine.org/article/physical-world/2021/understand-airborne-transmission-diseaseViruses and bacteria travel in fluids, such as the air we breathe. For the most violent exhalations caused by coughing, sneezing, shouting or even singing, drops smaller than 20 or 30 micrometers across can go 200 times farther than they would if they were emitted in isolation. In fact, the cloud and its payload can reach distances of up to 6 to 8 meters (about 19 to 26 feet) for the most violent exhalations

@Wolven #CryptoCurrency This is so over the top, that it almost gets to be funny, though it is a serious matter. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2024/jan/04/chief-executive-of-collapsed-crypto-fund-hyperverse-does-not-appear-to-existExclusive: Steven Reece Lewis was introduced to investors with an impressive list of qualifications and achievements, but no organisation cited can find any record of him.. . .A report from the US-based blockchain analysts Chainalysis estimates consumer losses to HyperVerse in 2022 amounted to US$1.3bn ($1.92bn).

@sj_zero The world isn't waiting for them to finish stuff. So they better ignore the world and focus to finish the current task, which they did.The world runs in parallel mode, not in serial mode.Per the usual Trump broke all kinds of implicit and explicit societal rules. Those rules were in place for good reasons. If we decided to break/abolish them, that should require a thorough public discussion on principles and consequences.Law is the anchor of the ship of state.

#Democracy #SupremeCourtThe absurd arguments of "conservative" Supreme Court justices. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/25/trump-supreme-court-immunity-analysisThe award for the most jaw-dropping display of jurisprudential sleight of hand goes to Alito. He invoked the goal of preserving a “stable democratic society” in support of Trump’s claim that he should be immune from prosecution for having attempted to destroy a stable democratic society.

@sj_zero From the same article. It was all clearly too much for Ketanji Brown Jackson. Of the three liberal justices she put up the most impassioned counter-argument for the prosecution to go ahead.“If there’s no threat of criminal prosecution, what prevents the president from just doing whatever he wants,” she said. The justice left it implicit that this particular former president is potentially less than seven months away from returning to the Oval Office.

@futurebird The consequences of getting one of these diseases can be life altering or even deadly.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syL1ATP3jEEPaul Alexander developed polio at the age of 6. The disease left Paul paralyzed from the neck down and unable to breathe on his own. He was placed in an iron lung, a large metal cylinder that varies air pressure to stimulate breathing. Paul died at age 78, accomplishing more than anyone thought was possible.[ Contracted polio in 1952 - No vaccination was available.]

@Radical_EgoCom @NOISEBOB @overanalytcl Have you considered, that a status quo will be created during your "transitional period", which creates a class of people interested in continuing this status quo while they derive power, influence, riches from this status quo. Therefore there will be fierce resistance against any ending of the "transitional period" by those people.
