This is an atrocity. Does Australia not respect human rights and do they have no faith in its legal system? What an utterly and complete overreach of the so called politicians.Australia: Unprecedented surveillance bill rushed through parliament in 24 hours.https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/australia-surveillance-bill/

It seems as though BattleEye and Easy Anti-Cheat is coming to both Linux and Mac. Perhaps, some day, this gamer doesn't have to have a Windows partition for gaming. That would be a wish come true.#LinuxGaming

I've actually grown to like #KDE much more. The amount of options and configuration can be very daunting for a beginner (like I was). At least now I don't have to live with libadwaita :)Have great day, Fediverse!

If you don’t want to do too much tech support for family and friends, install Ubuntu. Both my parents are using it, and the amount of issues have drastically declined.

@protonprivacy est tu, Proton? Est tu? Please make this opt-out. "composing" emails that I have not written does not provide tangible value, so please make an option to deactivate this #LLM nonsense. Thank you :)And yes, I have seen: https://fosstodon.org/@protonprivacy@mastodon.social/112813559157709709https://thenextweb.com/news/proton-privacy-first-ai-email-assistant-rival-google-microsoft

I am looking for a simple self-host, without much maintenance. It would need to host a local network share in RAID1 or similarA Windows VM for test purposesA Wireguard docker container.I have played with TrueNAS and Unraid, but all seems... off. Would XCP-ng hypervisior with 2 VMs make sense? A Windows for testing, and then a VM for hosting share and docker (could be TrueNAS)?#selfhost #docker #truenas #xcpng

@10leej I thought about it, but I fail to see what proxmox can do, which XCP-ng can't. It won't change that I will need 2 VM's. Thank you though!
