       @stux Yeah, that's when they assume social media only consists of Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.I'm glad the #Fediverse exists and that there's an alternative platform for almost every other centralized social media platform. Only for TikTok, IG Reels and YT Shorts there's no "replacement" in the Fediverse yet as far as I know. Or did I miss something?

       @stux When a user decides to block threads.net or any other domain/instance, does that only mute that blocked instance in the timeline, or would that also prevent that instance to see anything from that user via federation (so the blocked instance doesn't even know the user exists)?
