For those really lonely anons, I say, you're not alone in the feeling. You may be unhappy now, but nothing stays the same in life. While most "normal" people are beginning to fear 2026 only because of the economy, you are "pass that", thinking about giving up or not, maybe because like me, you have no one at this time of the year -no family, no friends, nothing- or maybe because of another reason, no matter. I invite you to think that soon the tides of karma will reach out us back, and things will improve -even if it sounds impossible right now.

@p @dcc @j @dj @TeaTootler @sun it's very very sad that 90% of the time the meds that they give are the ones the books they read to graduate said, instead the one a particular person with particular problems needs. I was very lucky with my psychiatrist, that did trust me that no SSRI was really working, identified my problem fast, made me jump to a SNRI, and after some time, finally identified my problem and gave me the right "real" meds I needed to stop living depressed and having dark thoughts. The meds that psychiatrist won't give you unless you went through "the process" before, and therefore they trust you.

The worst part next to power cuts (I touch wood and write I can't believe the electric grid supported for now), it's how difficult it becomes to work with such heat.This is not normal, we are not in January or February, it's the hottest December in decades.

After 5 months of work on an openLDAP related project with everything you can think of, very close to finish IMO, as in, add Oauth, debug, and ship it, yesterday I suddenly got told that they couldn't continue paying me for the project anymore (I got fired).
