If there’s a terminal-based text editor that has * tabs* a filesystem browser like NerdTree* a distraction-free mode like Goyo (optional)* dynamic word wrap (no scrolling beyond the right edge)* syntax highlighting for .desktop files, TADS, Inform, and other relative obscuritiesand that is not vim, I would like to know. vim is perpetually failing to rewrite the way I think about editing (it’s the little things, not it being modal or whatever). Kakoune? Helix? Not micro, not enough.

@OpenComputeDesign I’ve had websites with phpBB and Wordpress and even briefly email (on a dynamic ISP IP it just gets you blacklisted)… just can’t muster the enthusiasm/foolhardiness anymore. The local Gemini server is down due to me having forgotten how to generate certs
