       @deprecated_ii I strongly suspect Google has hijacked text rendering or other APIs on Android so that it can siphon keyword data from inside other apps and use it for ad targeting, in some way that technically complies with whatever their terms of service say they're permitted to do.There have just been too many instances where an uncommon word used in a private conversation is soon followed by corresponding, obscure YouTube recommendations or ads.

People conform their stories and own memories to what they've heard from others and what is socially expected of them.

       @MechaSilvio @jeffcliff @GoodBoyUV @RupertvonRipp The twins story is a good example of how much of the narrative is "created in post" or as a matter of framing around otherwise innocuous events or evidence.This woman has a story about being sick as a kid, having doctors run tests on her, and getting shots. Decades later one sister dies of cancer, as humans often do. The sinister character of this encounter only comes about when paired with some some sad or spooky music, along with the fact that we, the audience, are supposed to bring with us the lore of who Mengele is and all the comic book evil he did.If you only look "within the frame" you realize you haven't actually been shown evidence of anything specific. It's like a ghost hunting reality TV show.

       @vriska Most of your money already doesn't physically exist and is 100% controlled by private entities that are anti-citizen.The difference is that for now, government still needs to go through an accountable legal process to get a court order to revoke services from you, while the private banks and payment processors have no such oversight and can end your livelihood because the ADL told them to.If antagonists had to actually prove a crime to cut off payments to someone they would be powerless because most deplatformed people aren't criminals. If the government ran the payments system like it does the Post Office more dissidents would be able to use it, not less.

       @josh Putting user-controlled message data into the document via innerHTML is inviting injection unless I'm missing some context here.Would not require much sophistication when combined with the previously mentioned misconfigured security policy.
