       @futurebird @mmby I honestly think that Social Media didn’t/doesn’t give a damn about there being uncontrolled information— Only that money people smelled an opportunity. If they could make money off the free and democratic sharing of information, they totally would!

       @futurebird I mean, this is a flippant answer, but: I reckon you can construct a conspiracy theory that states ANYTHING, as long as the anything isn’t immediately debunked by the evidence of your own eyes.Moon landings: you weren’t there. Earth being round: you’ve never personally been to space. Vaccines: you need to do statistics to prove they work.So: population of the Earth being much less (or more) than informed consensus says: EASY!

       @futurebird @aredridel I… quite enjoyed… the book of “Ready Player One”, though it is very specifically one man’s nostalgia.But the film to me just felt a bit shabby and insular, and *corporate*, possibly for similar reasons you felt about the book!

       @futurebird Yes, they had to go back to the place of their birth and that was Bethlehem. (I’m guessing the place of JOSEPH’s birth, on the basis that he was the big important man. More fool the Romans.)
