       One old #palaeoart cliché is the archaic Mesozoic mammal drawn as an opossum-like creature facing the observer while it is eating something (usually, eggs or a lizard). This version is by Burian and is at leas 50 years old, but when this "meme" (opossum-like + eating + facing the viewer) was drawn for the first first time?
