@jensimmons There is a lot about COVID that has reminded me of AIDS. The "oh it kills them" attitude. I've thought a lot about the book And The Band Played On during the roll out or lack thereof of ways to protect yourself, treatments, vaccine, etc. I guess COVID needed a Ryan White.

@KimPerales Changing agriculture is often left off of the list of climate actions. I am not talking about organic foods. I am referring to rethinking how we grow, produce, transport, and consume foods. To the people who are completely overwhelmed by the climate issue, I suggest starting with your own food.

@thj @realcaseyrollins I used to be a criminal defense attorney, and I also practiced family law. I know what you are referring to, and I would call them unstable. I've sat with someone charged with murder in the forensic unit at a state mental hospital. I had a law classmate who went on a shooting spree at UNC Chapel Hill. None of those people were eccentric; they were mentally ill. Though the law classmate did look like Lou Reed.
