       i think we have a pretty solid base with https://signal.org/. the network effect won't be solved by launching a new "revolutionary" chat protocol every month. we can have plenty of new and fancy chat protocols, but if they don't reach beyond the tech bubble, they won't solve anything. nobody wants to use 1000 different chat applications.
