Fuck this plaintext is universal bullshit, stop making me write a little mini parser every 10 minutes and give me a reasonable syscall interface

@shibao I guess I should have clarified that I specifically hate sysfs/procfs/etc. This kind of filesystem-as-api bullshit that Linux pulls and then never makes a proper syscall for. There is no user data here. Writing the windows portion of this code was so much simpler because there's a win32 call for everything.

@Moon @shibao A little bit. I haven't done anything major in it but I've really liked working with it when I did.

       >when submitting your project for ${cpp_course} please keep the vscode directory structure intactIf you can't figure out what to do with a tarball of handwritten source files I'm not sure you should be teaching me cpp.

I have started having wrist pain after typing for 2-3 hours. I am sure someone on fedi has strong opinions about mechanical keyboards, I am open to recommendations if anyone has them. I am willing to go as far as soldering the thing and flashing qmk but I will not 3d print a case.

@nyx @allison @animeirl @scathach It's becoming known in some fringe gc circles and like crystal cafe and shit. The slow start of it has begun.

@allison @animeirl @nyx @scathach If /tttt/ includes the chasers on there I would bet on them. Otherwise crystal cafe.

Starting to like the NT kernel. Not sure if this is stockholm syndrome or a welcome break from posix hell.

Some who is either very stupid or very bad at spelling signed up for their 401k with an email address on my domain configured to catch-all route any mail to me personally. Its really surprising shocking how much personal information financial institutions will send unprompted without ever confirming the email address on file.

@lanodan Is your drawterm ebuild maintained? I can build from source manually but your ebuild fails. I have a build log, lmk what you need.

@saddestrobots My experience has been solidly the latter. You sure this isn't just webdev vs systems programming?
