@thenewoil Oh my 5,000 whole NATO cyber attacks? What restraint on NATOs part.I think Russian allied criminal privateers do that in a weekend. Then there's the Russian disinformation campaigns which is almost uncountable.

lets say you want to lobby a local nonprofit to make their posts more sharable on the open web.They have a website and they post to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.What do you try and get them them to use?(Yes there's ways you could do several with one posting, but pretend they're only willing to adopt one tool. Which is the best choice?)

This mothers day remember a great present for mom is to do the household chores your mom is stuck doing.Yes their are exceptions to this where a dad or non binary person is stuck doing the majority of household chores. There's even a few households that have managed an equal distribution of chores, but overall it's usually women stuck with the majority of unpaid household labor.So the rest of you slackers could use mothers day as a reminder to go pick up your socks, put your laundry away, clean the fridge out or some other chore your mom is usually stuck doing.

Anyone have any resources targeting a 6th grade reading level answering the question why republicans and/or conservative christians want to ban books with LGBTQ characters?Kid asked me to read politics, so thought I'd read about the debate over how much access to social media and phones teens and tweens should have.But unfortunately one of the worries about the internet control legislation is informed by the current wave of republican book banning.So kid asked obvious question "why do the christians want to ban books about LGBTQ people".And I feel the answer "they're a bunch of meany headed jerks" lacks depth.

So there's reports of reddit kicking current mods and trying to reopen subreddits after purging them of discussing locking communities in protest of corporate decisions.I am having massive flashbacks to the freenode takeover.One big thing that contributed to the failure of the takeover was that the community of IRC users knew the mods and had other out of band ways of communicating.When the main administrators were able to post on their blogs about what had happened, the rest of us went oh that's bad I guess I'll disconnect from the old service and connect to their new service.I wonder how many reddit groups have not on reddit ways of communicating? That seems like it'd be important to continue the protest.
