@EU_Commission The implementation of such critical piece of infrastructure must be #OpenSource, so it can be *trusted* by citizens by being transparent and provide security by being auditable by independent researchers. I hope #eu will make right decision here.

@EU_Commission I'm glad EU recognizes huge importance of those topics. Also right to repair should become a law in EU.

@EU_Commission It is a good idea, but I'm afraid it will lead to proliferation of proprietary batteries form-factors which will reduce repair ability of the phone –¸the same problem that we had with DC chargers before USB.

@BrodieOnLinux I don't like both terms. "enshittification" only describes the software, but not the people. I read in some blog a term "user domestication" which much better captures the intentions that corporations have. They want a domesticated user, that will accept everything without asking. Then the reverse process would be just "freeing" ;)

@BrodieOnLinux Actually cool, I did similar file system like 10 years ago. The problem was that I had very expensive internet connection, but FaceBook access was free. So I decided to use it as my cloud storage. I didn't use any API just plain old web scrapping technique. It was written in Perl.

@BrodieOnLinux idk, maybe it is a cultural thing that "root" node – the most important node must be sitting on the top. Also terminology (parent, child, sibling, etc) is borrowed from genealogy.
