       Here's a question we'll probably never know the answer to: are there more stars in the universe, or trees?Inspired by a similar question concerning our batch of sugar cookies.

       Google tells me there are about 3 trillion trees on Earth. So that makes up for like 3 trillion treeless stars. How many 3-trillion tree planets are there per 3 trillion stars?Though of course "tree" is probably not a real botanical category, it's certainly not a clade or anything. But presumably parallel evolution will bring trees around on planets with the right conditions. Are those rarer than 1 in 3 trillion?So for now I'm voting for trees.

       @simon Technically, it just happened to come up today on a ridiculously long shuffled playlist of albums in my collection that I started about eight years ago, get through about one album each day, and am currently about 69% through (nice).  I may have made more progress when I was working from home and didn't have to use headphones.But yeah, it's decent.

       @foone Grr, flashback to using Microsoft Access, right-clicking on a database table and trying to select "Design", but misclicked and hit "Print" instead.  Big "Why do we even have that lever?" energy.
