I was looking around for ways to do backup and nextcloud and stuff but I realized I can just make a dir on a server and then sync files and dirs I want there remotely with rsync. Everything else feels like bloat tbh#gnu #linux #backup #rsync

@downey I'm soliciting funds for my project and I do not represent any cause other than that.Software Freedom Conservancy is soliciting funds for software freedom and they themselves don't adhere to what they preach. Using google apps because "it's inevitable", seriously?(and EFF is an organization for privacy that says come work with Google, and their privacy badger plugin freely allows google analytics)

@downey or allowing employees to use proprietary software if it "makes their work easier"? isn't software freedom about going the extra mile even if it's inconvenient because freedom is more important than convenience?
