@kelbotGood question. Repairing stuff and prolonging the period of use by hacking for example should make an impact.But still you will buy a lot of stuff not strictly necessary... Maybe share tools with others?

@ericbuijsMine doesn't have an extra layer in between...I just clipped the glass on with those big metal paper clips. Of course you will loose some printing space this way@Citizenzibb @Pixl
