We ended up taking the kitten to the vet and I was trying to hype myself up for the intensive care she'd need, but one of the vet techs decided to keep her.It's the best possible outcome and I'm so relieved.

@aral I think a lot of people don't know. I recently talked with someone whose parent lost their job at the Pentagon, but my acquaintance didn't know who Musk is. She gets all of her news from TikTok, and who knows what the algorithm is feeding her.We've got the destruction of critical news sources and poor media literacy to contend with in addition to people being fascist (or okay with fascism).
