I feel a cold coming on, so I made a quick trip to Walmart to pick up some NyQuil HBP. Not finding it in the aisle, I asked the technician at the pharmacy counter if they were out. The female pharmacist overheard and yelled out that you can't take NyQuil with high blood pressure, I have to take something different. I told her I'd bought it here before, and she responded that no, NyQuil doesn't make an HBP cough syrup, so I couldn't have. I insisted that I'd bought it, here, at this very store, and she repeated that it was impossible. Finally I told her that she should write a letter to NyQuil and let them know, and walked off. A few minutes later a tech came out and looked, and said they were all out. Why they allow women to become pharmacists is anyone's guess. (I don't have HBP btw)

@folk this is why I seek a male doctor for anything serious that would require more than a quick examination and prescription for antibiotics. My main pet peeves with females in healthcare is nurses. They've gotten too uppity over the years with an unwarranted sense of their own self worth as cogs in the medicinal machine.

@ricotta @nerthos true. I had to replace my heater core earlier this spring. Was quoted at $300 for the core and $1000 for labor. I did it myself for $50.
