       Played a chess geimu today after a while and won https://lichess.org/OhXL4ltSNot familliar with Tarrasch French. I played it mainly to force the opponent into it if they're hoping to trick me into a Leningrad Dutch. The positions were not too complicated, but my lack of knowledge showed.

       @riserise it was free on gog and steam when they were launching the second main game. It looks interesting but the stealth is iffy and the level design is very lacking. It's clearly made for shooting, not hiding. The second game on launch even had a bug where you couldn't get perfect stealth score because your escortees heard your footsteps, that's how much they care.

       @riserise @moth_ball It's not about the score itself, it's about them obviously not even trying to sneak and notice the obvious problem.It's disappointing because the basic systems are there, but the hard part, the level design, isn't.

       @moth_ball @riserise This is one of the videos in a series complaining about the first game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRgKYvBDkCAI think it's night and day to compare good and bad levels, especially with a genre as dependent on them as stealth. If you've seen good steath it should be obvious this isn't it.
