Does anybody have any advice for trying to move away from Web development and maybe into my embedded system/lower level jobs?I bought a few embedded system programming books, but I'm tired of web development, I sometimes get to write simulation software at my job and that is so much easier to me than just giving angular a fcuking auto complete

I had this interview with a company and they tried to tell me I wasn't fit for the mid-level position I was applying to, I looked them up on Glassdoor and it looks like they do that to everybody they interview, also supposedly it's a cult ????

I am finally, almost fully moved in to the new place, a few quirks and things that aren't so good.. (almost no plug has a ground pen 🤮) but I have really fast internet now and it costs like.. $5 less than what spectrum was charging me

Anybody here use an iPad for note taking? Support on my android tablet ended, and I'm really bad at not losing paper notebooks, I'm trying to relearn a lot of math concepts up to linear algebra for when I try and go back to grad school, as well as just taking general notes

In regards to my last post, I think hobbies might be best enjoyed seasonally, the wood working I'm only going to do outside so I'm probably only going to do it during spring and fall, then focus on other hobbies during the inside months when I need heat or a.c, I think this will help prevent creative block by shuffling what I can do at a given time, if it's winter I'll probably just focus on Blender, Godot and maybe Arduino stuff, then try and build a bench or something when it warms up I think lots of people attach labels to themselves and it becomes an identity that might hinder parts of yourself from developing in the first place, you probably don't have to fight through creative block, good ideas will come, maybe your brain is telling you to focus on something else for awhile :neocat_cofe:
