#Linux users I'm begging you, if someone brand new to the ecosystem comes asking where to start, please don't start listing desktop environments and packaging formats. They don't care about that shit. Just recommend a good user-friendly distro like Mint, and let them come to you if they have more questions. Otherwise you're just going to overwhelm and/or irritate them.
