i cannot express the number of "But w-w-why can't we have full text search" triades I'm tired of hearing from white men. it's like that for a reason (helping to stem harrassment, and there's hasn't been a good consent based attempt to implement it) and it's not gonna change unless you do that and roll your own. But if you start trying to index the entire fediverse that way, don't be surprised when a bunch of instances just nuke you from orbit because again, it's not a thing a lot of us particularly want.
