@stux I hope that she doesn't, but only because I don't want a case precedent that allows people to get sued for sounding like a celebrity or a character a celebrity portrayed. If I shared a video of myself singing in a Kermit the Frog voice, I wouldn't want whoever owns that character to be allowed to sue me. Especially if it just so happens that my natural voice sounds kinda like that.

@stux isn't "Dutch" the English word for the language spoken in the Netherlands, the way that German is the English word for Deutsch? Or is Dutch the Dutch word for Dutch?

@stux Ugh. I "believe" in climate change the way I "believe" that Australia exists. I've never been there, and all the proof I've been shown could be fake. And in the abstract, there are some things about it that (without proper context) might seem kind of insane. But yeah. I'm still very certain that it is real.

@stux Theft deprives the victim of their property. Copying software is never theft. I do agree that we should not infringe on the rights of small developers, but let's not allow the corporate goons to reframe copyright infringement as theft.
