@eal Aww. Well, at least you HAVE a trash bin. Some miserable folk out there don't even have that, and are forced to just littering the streets.

@amic And a fire-resistant safe for important documents. Many companies and government agencies still rely on paper.

You know what I love? Buses of which the inside temperature is lower than outside. In the near-freezing winter. You know what else I love? Buses in which the wind force exceeds that of outside. In the near-freezing winter. Yo, #NJTransit, #fixYourShit.

@Gargron @kavbojka Ugh. Cryptpad lacks in accessibility. Contents doesn't fit, dialogs don't scroll, no indication that javascript is needed, buttons are too small, etc.

@jk Unlikely. It's suggested by Wikipedia authors that the name is the result of enumerating over the alphabet, with C following up on B, which was created earlier by Ken Thompson. B's name may have been a contraction of BCPL, upon which it is based.

@Gargron Does it just work because of Mastodon? Or because of ActivityPub? Either way: thank you!

@grainloom It's a fancy word for a black box I, developer of applications, didn't make, but do use to power my application. Many web browser apps exist for Android, none of which wrote their own parsers of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They lean on someone else's modules that got developed for that purpose.

@hirojin I had a similar issue with installing a component for MS Windows at work. The MS installer requires .Net 3.5. Guess which component I was trying to install? It should be impossible to criple an o.s..
