       While Mastodon is not Twitter, and some people are wondering about how things like #eqnz would work in a civil emergency, I'd like to remind people if you use the Mastodon website you can _follow_ a hashtag.Most of the apps* don't yet support following hashtags, but they will put the posts to that hashtag to your feed.*especially the official app

       @eqnz @CelticKiwi I’m a bit suspect if bots right now, for a bit like @eqnz to be reliable it ought to be running off an independent infrastructure and using an official API, and not just retooting a Twitter feed (I think that bot has a nice admin though)

       @vik @Br3nda Wellington has very few public chargers. I was fortunate enough to be able to install a 7kW charger at home and have off road parkingOk… we have 4Ha and there are many places to abandon a vehicle, but more relevant is that we have a covered carport and a small garage

       @aurynn I’m still on cool-down after having COVID last October. Thankfully because of the vaccine and two boosters I knew make plenty of the right antibodies
