@aesthetic huh, apparently when I try quoting an image in a retweet it just doesn't post the image :P

@thufir Ahhh okay, that makes sense haha. I think someone recommended Tusky to me first, but then after that someone else said "No, use Twidere", so I downloaded that instead! I'll go check out Tusky and Mastalab, thanks!!

browsing "the whole known network" on here is really cool. you can literally see people shout into the void, I like how open it is. Sort of like tapping into a firehose of live-stream consciousness, its addicting to read

I very much appreciate that @alixnovosi made a bot that purely just posts pictures of computer-generated trees. There's something sweet about a computer trying its best to make cute little art that emulates the real world, and seeing if people like it or not.

@f0x that would be awesome! It could learn what trees people like the most and respond by making more trees in that same fashion. The trees would evolve...@alixnovosi

@popefucker I met a girl in a city close to mine with a tattoo on her arm that just said "CYBERIA" and nothing else. I was like "omg I hate to be weird, but is that a fucking Lain tattoo?" And she was like "HOLY SHIT YOU GOT THE REFERENCE?????"

@Drinkbreak so, from what I've gathered, "instances" are each individual site. the "fediverse" means the "universe" of "federated instances", where federated means like joined or combined! So when instances link up together, they federate. And all of those together make up the fediverse as a whole!
