Ok! FWIW, check this: https://notabug.org/diogo/gnu-social/issues/258 , so maybe waiting for v3 is a good idea. If you install v2, I can tell you that most of the maintenance can be automated.

@lxo @zens I've never been told that by an actual refugee, but to me it's quite evident that "changing the software or the network of the social media you use" and "leaving home fearing for your life" are different things, and I understand why a refugee would not like the (bad, insensitive) analogy.

@fanta @marcelcosta Totalmente de acuerdo; y no sólo eso, sino que ya se sabe desde mastodon.social. En la última oleada tuvieron que redirigir a joinmastodon.org, no sé por qué no lo hacen ahora.
