I was at a Walmart and a woman decided she wasn't going to pay so she just pushed her cart out the door. The cashier stopped her and got in a fierce argument with the woman who just kept driving the cart out the door with the cashier flailing her arms. Security guard did nothing. What difference does it make if a machine or human can't collect payment.

Artists are outraged AI was trained using their artwork.You can't stop AI art if you wanted to. The best and most logical thing to do (and profitable) is to train AI with your artwork and license it. Same thing if you're a model. Train AI with the highest quality photos of yourself and sell the model with rights and royalties. Quit whining, start winning.
